Founded by Vanessa Sandes, The Imagine Company was built on a simple belief: every beautiful space begins with an idea. Today, Vanessa is joined by co-owner and Landscape Designer Melanie Wilson, bringing together decades of experience in landscape and interior design, creative project management, and horticultural expertise.

After studying Business and Marketing Management and running her own marketing business for nearly 20 years, Vanessa followed her passion for creating inspiring interiors and landscapes. She is known for designing spaces that reflect each client's unique personality while championing sustainable design and supporting local South African businesses wherever possible.

Melanie Wilson is a Landscape Designer with over 20 years of experience in the landscaping industry. She holds a National Diploma in Landscape Technology and has received multiple Gold and Silver awards from the South African Landscapers Institute (SALI) for gardens she designed in collaboration with Clayton Paarman of Paarman Landscapes. With a lifelong connection to horticulture through her family's well-known Harry Goemans Garden Centre, Melanie combines exceptional plant knowledge with a practical, design-led approach to creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces.
